Nic Buckingham is a multidisciplinary freelance Creative Director and Art Director with 20+ years of experience.

He creates intelligent, culture shaping ideas that define companies and make an impact, always with care and precision.

He’s collaborated with iconic brands and brilliant people across Australia, where he’s based, and the United States. Along the way, he’s helped Ryan Reynolds with Toon Blast, teamed with LeBron James on self-driving cars for Intel, launched transparent pants for Fruit of the Loom, created Carlton Dry’s Hello Beer with Taika Waititi, addressed gender imbalance in music with The 2% Choir for The Grammys, and reignited The Pride of Queensland with XXXX Postcodes.

Nic’s work has won at Cannes, D&AD, One Show, AWARD, Clio, London Internationals, New York Festivals, Webbys, ANDYs, Spikes, and Young Guns. He’s won pitches, worked with A-listers and C-suites, and delivered everything from multimillion dollar campaigns to hands on, quick turnaround projects.
